Coupon Krazy!!!

I have never gotten into the whole coupon thing because it just seems like it takes too much time. I'm trying to save some money for our possible trip to Europe and thought this would be a good way to start. I spent some time talking to coupon experts and I thought I had it all together. I got to the check out line and I think only one of my coupons worked out so all that work and I think I saved $1.00. This is exactly why I haven't done coupons before. I need help! It doesn't seem hard but it gets complicated when you have to buy five of these select varieties and specific size and then in combination of these 4 things as well. Just thinking about it makes me feel overwhelmed. I hope all of you have better luck with it than I did. The following links I found most helpful but apparently I didn't do it right.

Valentines Day- Part 2

Valentines day this year was great. It was nice to have it on Sunday because we got to spend the day together. Brett had a dozen roses delivered to me Saturday while he was at work. I was really surprised because I told him not to do anything. I know how much we listens now. Many people hate flowers and think they are a waste. Let me tell you that is not the case with me. I love love love flowers. I probably cared more about the flowers than anything else at our wedding. I love looking at them, and smelling them, they just lift my spirit. Brett also got me some very delicious mint chocolates and my favorite part the new Lady Antebellum CD. I'm so glad he got it for me because I love it. I listen to it every time I'm in my car.

Brett got a mac powerbook for valentines. I didn't intend on going this big but I got a really good deal on it and he was really in need of one. We have been trying to share my computer but I need it for so many things that it was usually him that went without. Sharing computers caused a lot of headache and scheduling conflicts so not only did I want it for him I wanted it for me :) Good news! he absolutely loved it and was so happy and surprised. It is perfect size for him to lug around and will help keep him organized. We heart Mac!!!

Be My Valentine

Of course my Valentine is my amazing husband and this year I got a puppy as my early valentines gift. This is the outfit I got her before we even picked her up. She is such a lovable valentine I love cuddling with her. I love my husband so much and I'm very grateful for all he does for me.

Super bowl Eating Fest

We had some friends over to help eats the tons and tons of food during super bowl. I love yummy finger foods but it seems like I never get to eat them so I take every opportunity to make a junk food buffet. We had so much food it was nuts I'm pretty sure no one went hungry and everyone took home leftovers. It was fun to visit with friends and everyone was happy with the game outcome. I honestly didn't watch much of the game the commercials if anything I love super bowl for the company and the food.

Cocktail Partay

My very adorable friend Carli had a vintage cocktail bridal shower. Everything about it was so cute. I loved the idea and we all had a great time with our virgin cocktail drinks. I'm so happy for Carli she is such a sweet girl and has always been a great friend to me.

Doggy Sitting

My parents a little brother took off for Australia last week where they will go on a cruise to New Zealand and other areas. They will be gone for three weeks so Brett and I are staying at theie house dog sitting. Having a little puppy and a 45 lbs. dog can be kind of overwhelming sometimes. They always have to be watched and they don't like to share my attention. Anytime I call Abby Zoey, my parents dog, will come running and make it really hard to get to Abby. When giving them treats Zoey usually tries to steal Abby because she is bigger and she just can. It's hard to take Abby potty because Zoey always wants to come but she is too much of a distraction for Abby. Despite the difficulties they play really well together and it's so cute to watch them. Zoey could eat her or hurt her pretty bad because she is so much bigger but she is so soft with Abby. She lets Abby crawl all over her and bite for hours. I love both of them they make me smile.
