Neighborhood BBQ 2010

I've gone on a little blogging break but I think I'm back. I have a lot to catch up on so I'm going to take it one post at a time. At the end of summer we got together with our neighbors for our 2nd annual BBQ. We don't see some neighbors as often so it's always fun getting together. We feel so lucky to have such a fun and young group of neighbors.

Bunco!!!!

My awesome friend Charish put together a ladies Bunco group and it was so much fun. It seems like such an old lady thing to do but I'm not sure why because it's a blast. Recently our ward was divided so the ladies were either from the 12th ward or 6th ward. It's nice to be able to see my friends that are still in the old ward. I can't wait for next months bunco. I'm usually horrible at games but I did surprisingly well at this one maybe because no skill is required. I won the top prize because I had the most wins and Charish had the cutest prizes.

Fun at the Fair

It wouldn't be right to not make a trip up to the Eastern Idaho Fair. I have to go every year to eat the greasy food and see the exhibits. On labor day we packed into my moms SUV again with the Wards and Hubbards for some good ol' fair fun. It probably wasn't the smartest idea going on Labor day because there were so many people, but I guess that is part of the fun it adds to the whole atmosphere.

Brett and I shared a foot long corn dog. To be honest with you it was the most delicious corn dog I've ever had. A small wiener and lots of breading ;) Yumm!

Me, Brett, Clayton, Charish, Cali, and Spencer

When we got back from the fair we decided to get together in the evening for a BBQ and watch the BSU game. I heard the game was a great one, I was too busy chatting with the girls. It was such a good Labor Day filled with great friends and delicious food :)

One Fabulous Night!!!

Brett and I recently traveled down to SLC for the John Mayer concert with our awesome friends. The Panniers and the Beorchias share the same love for this incredible musician so it was the perfect date night. John Mayer brings so many fun memories for me because when Brett and I started dating he listened to him all the time so when Brett was on his mission I loved listening to JM because it reminded me of him and made me happy.

My mom was kind enough to let us borrow her SUV so we could all travel together. It was cozy but it just made it extra fun.
We went to dinner at P.F. Chang's a first for Brett and I but now we are hooked

Alan and Emily Pannier

Owl City opened for John Mayer and I was really surprised how much I liked them. I don't think I would want to put their CD in my car but it was great live music to groove to.

The group

While we were waiting for the concert to start Brett saw one of his mission buddies walk by. He really enjoyed running into him and I'm glad I got the chance to meet him.
My favorite ladies!!!
Once I laid my eyes on cotton candy I was insistent on getting some
The Beorchias and us thought we were funny because we had a lighter app on our phones that we waived oh and Alan had chapstick haha!
The concert was so good he has a ridiculous amount of talent but definitely not the most politically correct person. He probably shouldn't have talked just sang haha! The thing I loved so much about his concert is he changes up his own songs and just jams it's pretty cool.

On our way home we stopped at 7 eleven because we don't have those in Idaho and they have great stuff. A couple of us got hot coco and it was delicious. The Panniers introduced me to the 7 eleven doughnuts and they are amazing!!!

Awesome friends... Delicious dinner... Amazing concert.... It can't get better than that :)
