When I'm bored I surf Etsy for cute things because I love to see what people are making. I love looking at baby things because I'm getting baby hungry and for some reason I feel it makes it better but I'm pretty sure it makes me want them more.

I've always wanted girls to dress them cute but I'm finding my favorite things are for boys

So for non-baby items I'm in love with this wreath and the door but I can't have the door so I can dream about the wreath. I'm not sure if I should buy it because it's kind of expensive or I should attempt to make it

Fun in the Sun

Brett and I were able to get away for a couple days with my family to Wolf Creek. My favorite lake Pine View is there and we took full advantage of the calm water and hot sun. The first day we were there it was 94 degrees. The water was so beautiful it was calm and warm. I got in to just swim because I was hot and the water was nice (that never happens).

This picture makes me laugh because the little boy on the left was getting so mad because my dad didn't know the controls (a.k.a hand signals) and was going way to fast. The little girl on the right was a maniac and wanted to go faster faster and I was just caught in the middle.

I missed these lovies so much while we were gone. The big dog on my lap is my parents and apparently she thinks she is Abby's size. We had Zoey over at our house until my parents got back and I think Abby enjoyed the company.

A little pampering

The last couple weeks I have been feeling down so Emily and I decided to take some girl time and get a pedicure. I was joined by some other special ladies in my life and it was a party. It was an interesting pedicure to say the least and the massage chairs were so rough on everyones back that we all got bruises and very sore backs. But my toes look nice :) Thanks to all the women in my life for being their for me when I need some uplifting.

We were also there celebrating my amazing aunt Jamie that just finished her last radiation treatment YEAH!!!! Jamie, Mom, Jackie (2nd mom), and Ashley enjoying their pedis.

Jamie and Mom!! I have such a cute mom and I love that we look nothing alike but our personalities are so much the same.

Congrats to Scott and Courtney

A couple weeks ago we went down to SLC to attend the sealing of Brett's high school friend Scott and his wife Courtney. I'm so happy for them the temple is such an amazing place and they also have a baby boy on the way!!!

After the sealing Brett and I decided to take a walk up to the roof on the conference center. It was such a beautiful day and super hot.

After the temple we all went out to eat at Red Robin can I say "YUMM"

Firecrackers and Fireworks!!

We had so much fun on the fourth. My parents always do a big party and invite multiple families in their neighborhood. My parents and a party always = good food. My dad did dutch oven dinner and it was oh so yummy.

My life long dream is to master cupcakes I'm a tad bit obsessed about these yummy treats. This obsession grew from the coco bean in Rexburg they have amazing cupcakes and I hope to make cupcakes just as good. For the fourth I made red velvet cupcakes and experimented with adjusting the recipe for high altitude and look how beautifully domed shape they are. This recipe is my ultimate fav they were so moist and flavorful. My husband was pretty proud of me and we ended up eating one too many of them.

Pre 4th Fun

We started the 4th celebrations a day earlier this year. I went out with y parents to American Falls along with some friends. I would have preferred it to be a little warmer but it was still nice to get out in the sun. I just noticed that Abby is in every picture but she is just too cute!!

We tied our boat to Newsom's boat out in the middle of the lake and had a Partay!!!

Bodilys and Wards were out on the lake too so after we got back we got together for a late night roast and fire works. Wards bought this really cool fire pit so we roasted wieners and marshmellows :) After we ate dinner we moved the party to the street and thats when it got crazy. Brooks in helmet and all went out in the middle of the street while Brett and Spencer shot bottle rockets at him. The girls were a little upset and trying to stop this madness but it didn't happen. They probably shot 20 bottle rockets at him until they were down to only one more and hadn't hit him yet. Brooks was bent over and Spencer shot him right in the butt and then it went between his legs. I wish we had it on video it was so freaking funny!! I don't think any parts were harmed in the process :)

Believe it or not but it is the same dog!! I still think she looks so cute but there is something about her now that just makes me laugh! I call her my little lamb :)

Mrs. Nature

Thats right that is me Mrs. Nature. No not really I'm definitely not a camper but I did it and I had fun. The neighbors decided to go camping and I only went for the company but in the end I did enjoy myself. Prior to this I didn't know people went camping where there wasn't a bathroom. When they told me there wouldn't be a toilet I about died. Then they broke the news that there wouldn't be running water and I concluded they were all absolutely crazy. After experiencing extreme nature I would have to say its better than going to a campsite that you have to share with other people. We were in the deep woods people!!!
