Week 21 and Ultrasound

This week marks 21 for me. I can't believe how fast time is going and that I'm more than half way done. I better get myself in gear and get all these projects done that are piling up. I have to say I love being pregnant. I don't love the back aches but I love seeing my tummy grow and baby girl moving it's the best. I feel so blessed to be carrying my little girl and can't wait to hold her in my arms.

We had another ultrasound at the first of the week because last time they didn't get to see a few things. It was short and sweet but they let us watch her move around for a little bit and it made my day. She was so much more active this time bouncing all over the place, using my bladder as a spring board, yawning, talking and moving her arms. I loved seeing her profile although it looks the same for pretty much every baby it's just amazing to see your baby and all her little features I can't believe she is ours and no one elses.

We got some cute video of her but this is the best part when she yawns

WE ARE HAVING A BABY!!!!

If you haven't heard yet we are having a baby and couldn't be more excited. Baby is scheduled to arrive April 29th.

This was our costume for halloween. It was so fun telling our family they went crazy. Brett's hat said Bun Maker.

Last week we had our ultrasound to see if it was a boy or girl. We asked the tech to not tell us but notify the lady we hired to bake a cake. The cake was either going to have pink or blue frosting on the inside. We had a our family over later that night and it was so exciting to cut the cake. AND ..... IT'S A GIRL!!!! We were really shocked because all along we figured it would be a boy because everyone is having boys. We felt that was confirmed when our baby had its legs crossed and the ultrasound tech found what it was so quickly. From the time of the ultrasound to the cake cutting I was 90% sure it was a boy so needless to say I was completely shocked.

We had technical difficulties so the video is pieced together but you get the idea

You can tell I'm happy from the mile wide grin I have!

When I was 12 weeks my belly popped out so I took my first prego pic and started a journal. I meant to do them more often but my belly didn't really change until last week and I have a feeling it's going to get large soon.

Dusting off the camera

Some of my friends asked that I do some picture for them this fall. I'm always a little hesitant because I'm my worst critic. Being around amazing photography I always seem to feel like I'm falling short. I know that there isn't any way to get better than to practice. So I had some lovely models to practice on.

Emily's Baby Shower

I had the opportunity to throw my good friend Emily a baby shower for all her Pocatello friends. I couldn't have done without the help from our awesome friends. It was so much fun and I can't wait for her little guy to arrive.

To go along with the circus theme we did a photo booth and I love how they all turned out!

Bryce and Beki

September was a very busy month for us with weddings. We had 4 weddings in three weeks a little crazy but awesome that I got to see my cousins so much! I love my dads family so much and wouldn't trade any of them for the world!

Bryce and Beki coming out look at how happy they are! (sorry for the amateur photos it was with a cell phone)

My amazing sisters (cousins) they have adopted me into the fam

All my dads siblings. How great it was to have them all at the temple. One of the best things about weddings.
Brenda, Shauna, Valerie, Lamar and Deloy (my dad)
My Grandpa Stuart's name was Albert and this is his sister Alberta haha! The most hilarious part was their mom didn't even know the names were similar and no they weren't twins. We call her Betty White haha! She is the cutest and sweetest old lady I want to be like her!

Surfing

We finally got to try surfing and now I'm addicted. It's so much fun being able to carve into the wake without having to use a rope it's just you. It took me a couple times but I started to catch on. I can't wait to try it again and get better.

Haha don't mind my goofy grin I was excited!!!!

We spent all day out on the boat with lots of friends. The girls took a ride on the monster tube. I was having a hard time finding a spot to sit so I sat on the back which was ok until I landed on top of everyone haha!

Brett loved surfing! He didn't have as big of a wake that I did but he was getting the hang of it.
