Our honeymoon

We took a late honeymoon because we both started summer school four days after we were married (yuck I know). We took a cruise right before fall semester started. It was such a blast I'm really glad we did it. It was a seven day cruise down the mexican Rivera on Royal Caribbean. We highly recommend it to anyone. This is my brief journal log of the trip.

All Aboard!!

Yeah we are finally here. We traveled all morning and now we get to eat and kick our feet up. We stayed the night in Salt Lake with Shannon and Craig (thanks guys). Craig drove us to the airport and off we went. I was so nervous that we would have problems getting through security because I put Brett as his name instead of Steven. I'm glad I'm not on a cruise by myself lol!

Day at the pool and lots of eating :)

Cabo San Lucas

What a hottie
Today we are in Cabo it’s so beautiful. It is our first stop on the cruise and I can’t wait to show brett Mexico. We did a shore excursion this stop. We did a Sea Helmet dive and it was really awesome. I got motion sick because the water was pretty choppy. I didn’t really realize that there are still waves under the surface. Despite getting sick it was an amazing experience Brett loved it. After the dive we did some shopping which is my favorite. CHEAP CHEAP CHEAP!!!

Mazatlan

I love my Husband :)
Mazatlan was one of our favorite spots. We didn’t do a shore excursion so we found our own fun which made it that much better. We took a taxi tour for so cheap around the city. The driver was awesome and took pictures of us everywhere. Then we did some shopping and called it a day.

Thursday 9.21.08
Puerto Vallarta

It was hot and we were sweaty
We did a another shore excursion for our last stop. We decided to be brave and do a zipline through the top of the jungle. We had to ride in this crazy army vehicle thing for about an hour and the crazy mexicans drove 100 mph. I thought I would die or my face would blow off. The zipline was the most exhilarating thing I've ever done. So amazing we both loved it and can't wait to do it again. We were ziplining for about 2 hrs and I got eatin alive by mosquitios (it's a hot look) brett didn't even get touched imagine that.

Soaking In the Sun

Last day on the boat:(

 9.24.08
Unfortunately I got a really bad ear ache today which made traveling quite unpleasant. We ended up with a four hour layover in Long beach which has an airport about the size of pocatello it was great. On a humorous note we had some personal liquids (haha) in our carry on that we forgot about so they took them away it was really embarrassing. I was really mad because it wasn't cheap stuff. Live and learn :)

  1. Looks like so much fun!! We went on a cruise to the Bahamas for our honeymoon, and had an incredible time. We took a lot of the same type of pictures...with the towel animals, sipping drinks on the deck, etc. Your wedding pics are beautiful too! Congratulations!
