The Hipper Zipper

I've been suffering from terrible depression I hate being back in school. We had so much fun during spring break now it's back to being stressed and tired. My sister in law cheered me up by bringing me this wicked sweet zipper bag from New York. It's a crazy long zipper and you just keep zipping and zipping and walah it's a bag. 

Park City Day 4

We had to leave today it was very very sad. We woke up in the morning and there was a ton of snow outside. What is the weather thinking seriously. On our travels home we stopped at IKEA fun as usual. Then we went to the SLC temple and did a session. Brett and I hadn't been back to that temple since we were married so it was kind of cool. We were asked to be the witness couple too which is still a little nerve racking to me. We hit Panda Express and then our vacation was officially over. The roads between SLC and home were horrible.  I'm one to freak out about bad roads and sure enough I did. I was so tense the entire way home that my jaw was killing me. To calm my fears I just kept thinking we just went to the temple so we are good lol!  So now it's back to cleaning the apartment, homework, school, and work. It's very depressing but I just keep thinking summer will be here soon. 

Tubing

Yesterday we went to Gorgoza Park and it was amazing. It's a tubing hill that has 7 different lanes and the best part is you just sit in your tube and this thing pulls you up to the top. The first time we went down it was so hilarious I seriously about peed my pants.  The four of us linked together in a group so we could all see each other. We really weren't expecting to go that fast but it was so crazy fast we all thought we would die. The look on everyones faces and the screams were priceless. Watch the video and you will get an idea haha! It was such a blast! 

In the morning the boys made amy and I play boxing. They thought it was the funniest thing ever. 

Olympics . Shoes . Craters

We were very busy yesterday but had a lot of fun. In the morning we went to the Olympic park where all the ski jump, freestyle and bobsled stuff took place. They have a museum there one part is just snow stuff and games you can play and then the other part is the olympic stuff. We had fun and it was free you can't complain about that. Then we went shopping to the outlet mall and got some great deals. Then we came back ate a late lunch and then Brett and I went to the crater to swim. It was the craziest thing ever. It's this crater that is heated by thermal activity and there are so many minerals in the water that the steam has created a dome over the crater. It was all inclosed except for a small hole in the top. The water was a good temperature it was like bath water you didn't get too hot but didn't freeze either. We had a lot of fun just relaxing.

I know this looks super real. I bet you thought we were really there.

After church we packed up and were on our way to park city. We unpacked and then started dinner. With only a few minor dilemmas we had a very nice meal which included: grilled chicken, pasta, cheddar biscuits and green beans. We brought so much food we shouldn't go hungry at all this week. Amy and I relaxed while the boys played the Wii. Then I basically forced the guys to watch twilight because I love it and Amy had read the book but not seen the movie. After they watched it they said it wasn't too bad so I'm not so mean after all. 

I don't think our trunk could have held one more thing.

Movie Night

This is almost a weekly event. We take all the cushions off the couch to make a bed on the floor. Suprisingly it is pretty comfortable. We love watching movies and spending time with each other. We watched eagle eye, it was Brett's pick and it ended up being better than I thought. 

SPRING BREAK!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait for spring break!! I'm constantly dreaming about it. One more week of torture then here comes the fun. We are going to Park City with Kade and Amy Raymond. They are a really fun couple I just hope they don't get sick of us. They came over tonight and we planned all the meals and activities. These are a few we decided upon.

Secret Life of Bees

Tonight we watched secret life of bees with Brett's younger brother and sister. There were so many wise sayings in the movie it was quite uplifting and meaningful. One that really touched me was "knowing the truth is only half the battle it's what you do with it that matters".  I've been having a hard time with some things in my life right now and that helped. It changed my perspective a little to being more positive. Things may not happen the way I want them to or things might be said to be that are hurtful. It's what I choose to do with the disappointments that matter. I think God gives us all trials not to beat us down but to build us up. So my new goal is to work on building myself up instead of letting others tear me down. 

Pearly Whites

Last night we went to the Builders Association Dinner and Auction with my parents. My dad was helping with the night so we really went to hang with my mom. They had texas roadhouse for dinner and then had a silent auction. They had tons of stuff for the auction Brett and I ended up buying three things. We bought two teeth whitening from Four Seasons Dental. We only had to pay $60 for both them I was so pumped about a great deal. You can't hardly get a crest strip set for that wahoo! I'm pretty much obsessed about teeth so the whiter the better. I also bought a salon package that has a wax hair cut and three tans for $15 I think that is pretty good because it's stuff I use. I just love getting good deals!! My dad made me do the money booth from Idaho Central I really didn't want to do it but he made me. It costs $20 to do it and I only got $16 out not such a great deal. 

Eight Eyes Core

Monday night for Family Home Evening we went to the Barons to play games and they made treats for us. Also Eric read us a very lovely poem :) We played mad gab it is a pretty funny game. We got a good laugh over the silly way we all sounded. If your wondering what the Title says it's A tie score. Thanks guys for having us over!!!! 

Family Ties

On Sunday we went to the my cousin Jessica's House. She is three years older than me but growing up we were always partners in crime (literally). It has been hard not seeing each other very often with our busy lives, so every month from now on were going to get together. I'm very excited about that. We ate dinner which was delicious and then we played a game hand and foot (I think that is what it is called). It was a fun game and for the record Jessica and I beat the boys. 

When you take a 4 hour nap on sunday and then leave the blinds closed it can be surprising when you look outside. We had no idea it snowed 6ft. it was kind of funny. Brett looks a little disgusted with the situation. 

Parker and Cooper. They are the cutest kids. We had a lot of fun playing with them. Parker had this really cool race track. The boys had fun racing all the cars. 
Cooper!!! Brett and I got to fight over holding Cooper he is such a calm kid (Jessica might say otherwise) and just happy to have you hold him. 
Parker is a crack up. He is wild and crazy with  a lot of attitude. I told him to smile and that's what I got haha!

Pokapalooza Warped Pictures

Pokapalooza was a lot of work but in the end it paid off. We had more people show up than we thought. It went a little too long for me but I'm sure that will change next year. I got there at 5pm and didn't leave 11:30. Brett was a good husband because he came after he got off work to entertain me. The marketing association is a fun club to be in the people are great. Any major can join and we take a lot of fun trips you should really do it :)

Little Drummer Boy

So I have brag a little because my husband is amazing. He is the best husband ever and he has so many talents. Saturday was the ISU Children's Chorus Alumni Concert at the Performing Arts. His family has been heavily involved in this choir. Brett started singing with the choir when he was 8. Currently his mom is the Director and Accompanists but won't be doing it anymore. Bretts family minus dad and lil nick did a jazz piece. The video doesn't do it justice with the acoustics and everything it was amazing. He also played percussion for two of the numbers. Wow seriously my husbands talents never ends. It's always fun to go back to the performing arts because the beginning of our relationship was when I went there to listen to his solo during ISU Choir Concert. I'm a sucker for beautiful voices I know.

Boise Part 2

Saturday morning we got up early to go shooting out in the desert. We kept driving and driving and driving I didn't think we were ever going to get there. Tyler, Amy's boyfriend, is an Idaho State Police Officer so he brought all of his fun toys along. I've never shot a real gun before only the stupid ones they have at the boys camps. It scared the crap out of me. I thought I would pee my pants. Brett was all about it he loves that stuff. I sat in the car most of the time because it was freezing and very windy. Although, the experience was worth being cold for a while. Everyone got a kick out of the fact I would scream each time I fired the gun. Watch the video you will get the idea lol! 

I felt so fierce with a gun it my hands. Loved it. I didn't like it for long though because of the fear of shooting my foot or something. 

This was one scary lookin gun. It's an assault riffle and I feel sorry for whoever it's pointing at. 

This was me in the car I was so freezing I had anything and everything on me. I tried to talk Tyler into letting me just shoot the gun from the car via the window. He didn't go for that can't imagine. 

Brett said it was almost better than Christmas!!! A boy with toys whatcha gonna do!

I'm smiling but really I'm terrified.

Boise part 1

This last weekend we went Boise to play with Tyler and Amy. On Friday we went to a Steelheads Hockey Game. We were hoping to see a fight break out but no such luck. They played against Las Vegas and won Yeah!!! We absolutely love going to Boise. It's nice to have better entertainment options great shopping and food. 

This is a pee wee hockey team that came out in between one of the quarters. They were so little and cute. It was kind of funny to see them crashing and falling out there. 

And the crowd goes wild!!! It was much better being there the noise level doesn't compare.
