Coupon Krazy!!!

I have never gotten into the whole coupon thing because it just seems like it takes too much time. I'm trying to save some money for our possible trip to Europe and thought this would be a good way to start. I spent some time talking to coupon experts and I thought I had it all together. I got to the check out line and I think only one of my coupons worked out so all that work and I think I saved $1.00. This is exactly why I haven't done coupons before. I need help! It doesn't seem hard but it gets complicated when you have to buy five of these select varieties and specific size and then in combination of these 4 things as well. Just thinking about it makes me feel overwhelmed. I hope all of you have better luck with it than I did. The following links I found most helpful but apparently I didn't do it right.

Valentines Day- Part 2

Valentines day this year was great. It was nice to have it on Sunday because we got to spend the day together. Brett had a dozen roses delivered to me Saturday while he was at work. I was really surprised because I told him not to do anything. I know how much we listens now. Many people hate flowers and think they are a waste. Let me tell you that is not the case with me. I love love love flowers. I probably cared more about the flowers than anything else at our wedding. I love looking at them, and smelling them, they just lift my spirit. Brett also got me some very delicious mint chocolates and my favorite part the new Lady Antebellum CD. I'm so glad he got it for me because I love it. I listen to it every time I'm in my car.

Brett got a mac powerbook for valentines. I didn't intend on going this big but I got a really good deal on it and he was really in need of one. We have been trying to share my computer but I need it for so many things that it was usually him that went without. Sharing computers caused a lot of headache and scheduling conflicts so not only did I want it for him I wanted it for me :) Good news! he absolutely loved it and was so happy and surprised. It is perfect size for him to lug around and will help keep him organized. We heart Mac!!!

Be My Valentine

Of course my Valentine is my amazing husband and this year I got a puppy as my early valentines gift. This is the outfit I got her before we even picked her up. She is such a lovable valentine I love cuddling with her. I love my husband so much and I'm very grateful for all he does for me.

Super bowl Eating Fest

We had some friends over to help eats the tons and tons of food during super bowl. I love yummy finger foods but it seems like I never get to eat them so I take every opportunity to make a junk food buffet. We had so much food it was nuts I'm pretty sure no one went hungry and everyone took home leftovers. It was fun to visit with friends and everyone was happy with the game outcome. I honestly didn't watch much of the game the commercials if anything I love super bowl for the company and the food.

Cocktail Partay

My very adorable friend Carli had a vintage cocktail bridal shower. Everything about it was so cute. I loved the idea and we all had a great time with our virgin cocktail drinks. I'm so happy for Carli she is such a sweet girl and has always been a great friend to me.

Doggy Sitting

My parents a little brother took off for Australia last week where they will go on a cruise to New Zealand and other areas. They will be gone for three weeks so Brett and I are staying at theie house dog sitting. Having a little puppy and a 45 lbs. dog can be kind of overwhelming sometimes. They always have to be watched and they don't like to share my attention. Anytime I call Abby Zoey, my parents dog, will come running and make it really hard to get to Abby. When giving them treats Zoey usually tries to steal Abby because she is bigger and she just can. It's hard to take Abby potty because Zoey always wants to come but she is too much of a distraction for Abby. Despite the difficulties they play really well together and it's so cute to watch them. Zoey could eat her or hurt her pretty bad because she is so much bigger but she is so soft with Abby. She lets Abby crawl all over her and bite for hours. I love both of them they make me smile.

Job update

Last week Premier Technology laid me off, which was a little disheartening. I was really passionate about my responsibilities and it was hard to feel like it was all a waste. The day I finished the website they broke the news. They made a decision to lay off all marketing people to save on cost. For a company that size I just think it's crazy, but I hope it works for them. I was hoping that I would get a full time position, but that obviously didn't happen. They were very happy with all the work that I have done and would like to continue to contract me to do work. Depending on how much they give me it might be a win, win situation because they don't have to pay for taxes and employee insurance, but I get paid about double my hourly pay. To be honest I'm so glad to not be working there. I didn't really enjoy it I had a hard time with some of the people and the corporate business strategies. I loved the opportunity and the pay was nice but I dreaded going to work everyday and eight hours never went by fast enough.

I feel so blessed because I found a great job with only being unemployed for a week. I will say that the week off was really nice. I got a job with Bannock Development Corporation. They work with local companies to help strengthen the economy and they are responsible for bringing new companies to bannock county. I'm excited for this job because it will provide so many opportunities to network with businesses in the area. There are two ladies that run the organization and they are really nice I'm excited to work with them. It will be the first time that I had my own office with four walls. It will be nice to have my own space that I can focus without a lot of distractions.

These are a few of the things I did at Premier. Overall I'm glad I had the experience I grew so much.

I was in charge of Premier's new website. I'm really proud how it turned out. It was daunting and overwhelming at times because there are a total of 92 pages.

It's a Girl

Three weeks ago we got a baby girl PUPPY!!! Abby is the sweetest thing ever we completely adore her. We really do fall in love with her more and more every day. Sometimes my fuse gets short with the struggles of potty training but I guess it is just preparing me for motherhood. Abby has cured me from being baby hungry. I'm hoping it can be a fix for a couple of years. She is so much like a baby I love cuddling with her and watching her tail wag when she sees me. Here are my top 10 reason why she is just like a baby.

1. She cries at night. Sometimes I give in and go hold her
2. Sometimes when she sleep she makes a sucking noise
3. She loves to be held and cuddled
4. Before putting her in her crate at night I soothe her to sleep
5. I dress her up in cute doggy clothes, necklaces, and hair bows
6. I have to clean up poop and pee
7. I talk to her in a baby voice when she goes potty outside
8. She likes to lay on my chest where she can feel my heartbeat
9. She is teething and always needs something to chew
10. We have a lot of checkups and shots with the puppy doctor

I love being a doggy mom she is my cute little fur ball. I'm going to really make an effort to not make every post and facebook status about the little pup. I take so many pictures of her because she is always doing something cute.

We met the breeder in SLC. On the way home she slept like this all cuddled up.

We stopped for lunch at the Layton Mall food court. Abby was quite the show people couldn't believe she was real.

Last Sunday when we were at my parents for dinner I convinced my dad to do some pictures of us. I feel a little lame doing pictures with our dog, but she is our baby I just can't resist. They aren't the cutest pictures, but I love them because my abby looks so cute!

We didn't have much luck with doing pictures of her alone she just wanted to get down, but she is still cute in her valentines hair bow.

Abby gets really cold when we take her potty so my mom bought her this pea coat. She doesn't like it much and usually ends up tipping herself over because she is trying so hard to bite it. It's all good entertainment.

Our neighbors Alan and Emily threw a Tacky Sweater Party before Christmas. It was so fun to get together with our neighbors eat good food and laugh at silly outfits. Emily cooked some really yummy food, we played games and did white elephant gifts. My sweater just might be a tacky as they come it was pretty awesome. We had a hard time finding something ultra tacky for Brett so we figured no one was more tacky than Cousin Eddie from Christmas Vacation. It's hard to see it in the picture with the flash but he has a black dicky under his thin white shirt. We found the perfect shoes at DI and Brett had to go all out with his fake beer and cigar.

New Moon

I'm finally on track for getting caught up. So here it goes!!!

I love twilight so much and surprisingly I have never read the books. I mean to read them, but never find the time. I feel like if I have time to read it should be a textbook. Maybe I love it so much because I have only seen the movies I don't know. You could say I am obsessed with Jacob I love putting myself into the movie ahh! it makes me excited just thinking about it. I don't think Brett really enjoys this obsession but the kid is like 17 or something so he doesn't have much to worry about. I can't leave Edward out though, I do love him for being all mysterious but I'm not so much a fan in real life.

For the premier of New Moon my mom and bunch of friends went to this "red carpet party" honestly the party was a huge flop but the company was nice and the movie was amazing. I can't wait for the next movie to come out this summer. We won't be going to the party again but I'm sure we will have our own "Premier" party.
